Any items that we collect will be donated to the Fox Cities Victim Crisis Response Team (VCR). The VCR’s are a dedicated group of trained volunteers who assist local law enforcement agencies in responding to the immediate needs of victims of crime and those in crisis in the Fox Valley.

Lake Park Sportsmen & Lower Cliff Fishing Clubs

Help celebrate one of the Menasha area’s most unique creatures, Lake Sturgeon.
This amazing prehistoric fish has remained unchanged for millions of years. From spawning in April to spearing in February, the lake sturgeon provides viewing and sport in numbers unmatched anywhere in the US and likely anywhere on the planet.
Stop in at Lake Park Pub to collect your FREE buttons. Enjoy a beverage or meal while you are there!
Both of these 501(c)3 fishing clubs support winter sport fishing and sturgeon spearing on Menasha’s north end of Lake Winnebago by promoting safe ice travel and sturgeon preservation through organizations such as Sturgeon for Tomorrow and the Harrison Fire Department ice rescue team.

Attend the 7th Annual Neenah-Menasha Intertribal Powwow on Saturday, September 14th.

An Emcee will announce, "This is an intertribal; everyone can dance!" After the dance, someone will be there to hand out the buttons.

OTTO GRUNSKI WEEKEND

GRUNSKI RUNSKI - Saturday, Sept 28
The 44th annual Otto Grunski Runski 5K event will once again circle Doty Island. The event starts and ends at Curtis Reed Square in downtown Menasha. Kickoff starts at 8:30am. Participants are encouraged to participate in the costume contest and enjoy the post-race after party. Participants will receive post-race food from Parker John’s BBQ and PIzza, a treat from The Sweet Lair and brass monkeys from Club Liquor. They will also receive a brimmed hat and a finisher medal. GRUNSKI BIKESKI - Sunday, Sept 29
In celebrating the City of Menasha’s 150th anniversary, Smith Park will be hosting the come-back event: The Otto Grunski Biking Classic. The original Biking Classic took place from 1973 until 2002 in honor of Otto Grunski, the Menasha inventor of the “Boneshaker”, a precursor to the modern bicycle.
There are 3 race-types for participants to complete: the Community Criterium (participants race to see how many laps they can do in 20 minutes and participants are chipped), the Novelty Bike 1 mile (not timed and bikes are judged on crowd favorites), and Kids ¼ mile (parade-style).

Public Power Expo
Attend Menasha Utilities Power Expo between 11am-3pm.
The event will be held in the garage facility attached to the back of our building. We have giveaways for MU electric customers only.
If people come in for the button who are not MU customers, they would be welcome to grab their button, but wouldn’t be eligible for the giveaways and free items.
